The 9^th IP Telephony Workshop - IPtel2013

Recent  Advances  in  IP Telephony

Department of Telecommunications at VSB-Technical University of Ostrava and association of czech universities CESNET organize already the traditional IP TELEPHONY WORKSHOP. The workshop is primarily an opportunity for meeting of researchers involved in CESNET  IP telephony group and all  those who are interested in colaboration and getting an overview of activities regarding the association of czech universities in the field of IP telephony. The chosen name Recent Advances in IP Telephony indicates that we will talk especially about news such as WebRTC and DTLS-SRTP which have been recently implemented into Asterisk, futhermore we expect a discussion on advances in our projects such as BESIP, Penetration Tests and SIP benchmarking. In addition to the  topics mentioned above, we would like to introduce our new research regarding the multi-agent speech quality monitoring system. Nevertheless, we call for a contribution with any topic regarding the  IP telephony. The event takes place February 21 - 22, 2013 in the laboratory of IP Telephony  at VSB-Technical University of Ostrava with the following agenda:

Regarding Organization:

• Venue,  lab N211 is located in  building N of the university campus in  Poruba, by train from Ostrava - Svinov railway station: few dozen meters in front of the main exit from station building departs every ten minutes   BUS No.37, get out at the stop Studentská.
• Accomodation, is provided in the area of student halls in residence VŠB-TU in Ostrava-Poruba in the hotel section, which is in the range of about 10 min. by walk from the building N.
